At Rise Nursery we are committed to offer families the opportunity to benefit from the Government funding. We accept a range of Government funding options to assist with childcare fees and participate in the Tax-Free Childcare program to support working families. We offer Early Years Funding on a stretched basis only, as it is provided term-time for 38 weeks a year, whilst we are open 48 weeks a year. When stretched, 15 funded hours become 11.87 hours per week, and 30 funded hours become 23.75 hours per week. The fee sheet shows you the total you will pay each month and it includes the cost of additional charges for consumables, meals and extra curricular activities for your funded hours and any additional hours you do apart from the funded hours. If you wish to opt out of these charges, please discuss the available options with the nursery manager.
Breakdown of additional charges per week for 30 hours
(included in the fees above):
Working parents may be entitled to 30 hours (Working Family Funding)
of funded childcare.
9 month olds - 2 year olds may be entitled to receive 30 hours of funded childcare from the term after their 9 month birthday.
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 funded hours of childcare (Universal Funding) from the term following their 3rd birthday.
2-3 year olds may be entitled to receive 30 hours of funded childcare from the term after their 2nd birthday.
The terms begin on 1st January, 1 April, 1 September. To find out if your child is eligible for funding please visit: childcarechoices.gov.uk . We offer the funding on a stretched basis only as it is only provided term time, for 38 weeks in the year whilst we are open 48 weeks in the year.
